Description
This past year i´ve fealt like i have been going nowhere in progress and pretty much just repeated the same old stuff, so this time i´ve decided to try something different for a change. Although i´ve done scifi landscapes before, this one is my first serious attempt of matte painting.
Probably not the last one either... :)

You're a person who is rooted in tech, I think. You have rock pillars in the middle of nowhere, and yet there are power/comm cables strung between them. Right away this tells me that this is a contemporary scene. More sf than fantasy. My only critique would be that you don't have cables strung between the two foreground towers. Unless our vision is below the lowest drape. This is good, sir, but you're still being conservative. Time for something REALLY left-field. Throw some color into it. Do a scene looking into it from the rooftops down into the canyons. Give it some action!
