Description

This past year iÂ´ve fealt like i have been going nowhere in progress and pretty much just repeated the same old stuff, so this time iÂ´ve decided to try something different for a change. Although iÂ´ve done scifi landscapes before, this one is my first serious attempt of matte painting. Probably not the last one either... :) A small breakdown of the scene here. Photoshop & a Wacom tablet.

You've heard every compliment in the book so far I'm sure. But I wanted to let you know as someone who has been following your work I think this is my favorite piece so far. There is just so much detail here, something alien grounded in realism. I will probably put this image on my desktop as my wallpaper for the next few weeks, and not only will this picture constantly energize and inspire me, it will also keep showing me new things every time I look at it. You really have amazing skill, and I believe if you put together a portfolio you could get a job in the movie or anime field. If you want to be challenged, this is the way to go.
