Description
I am afraid the deluge has started already!
The highway is flooded, as are many minor roads. A few homes are on the brink and rivers are rising perilously.
I can now leave my driveway to get myself around, (and to work!) but what they call the Pineapple Express is in full spate. This apparently is a serious low pressure system that comes at us from across the Pacific, and brings horrendous rains. I will keep you informed........Oh, by the way, I have a brand new in ground swimming pool in my back garden, for free!

Stunning capture! And bring out the ark, because you'll need good luck with the incoming deluge.

Beautiful image! So lacy and pretty. Took me an hour and 45 minutes to get to work this morning (a 20 minute trip, usually) because of flooding. I may have overdone it a bit on the dancing, but it's all your fault - you egged me on! LOL!

Sounds like pretty bad weather your way. Most of the snow melted away here today but no flooding problems yet. Great shot!

And that in-ground pool will be a great place to practice your figure skating in short order if this keeps up! Wonderful winter wonderland shot.

Hope you dont go for a cool dip... in your new pool...brrrrrrrr.

It's pretty to see, isn't it? Yes, I believe you're pretty near sea level, so I can see how rain following snow could cause flooding. Here in Ridgway, Colorado we're at almost 8,000 feet elevation, so the melting is accompanied by rapid evaporation.

Oh the weather outside is frightful But the fire is so delightful And since we've no place to go Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! It doesn't show signs of stopping And I've bought some corn for popping The lights are turned way down low Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! When we finally kiss good night How I'll hate going out in the storm! But if you'll really hold me tight All the way home I'll be warm The fire is slowly dying And, my dear, we're still goodbying But as long as you love me so Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Beautiful picture. Todd

I bet you don't go for a dip in your new pool. We could do with it down here it was 30 degrees celcious yesterday. How picturesque and beautiful this tree looks in it's blanket of snow. A lovely capture.
