"If a photograph can in some way capture even a small essence of a moment in time, she has done something magical." ~ Theo
I see that I was not the only photographer inspired by the beauty of the Morikami Japanese Gardens. I somehow doubt though that he was seeing things quite the way that I was. ;'] Infrared capture, again with the Red and Blue channels swapped in Photoshop. Best viewed full size, I dedicate this to all of the photographers here at Renderosity. -----

Very much so, such beatiful colours! Looks slighly strange because the grass looks like it's covered in snow, you have shorts and a t-shirt on.

Most people don't see things the way that we do Kort. It's nice to see things in IR.
PeeWee05
Do you mind me asking what filter you use or have you converted your camera to an IR one?

I LOVE it! I mean, this is super. The coloring is the kep for me. It could have been the same photo, colored differently and it would not have been all that I see it as now. The soft blues in just this combination are marvelous!

Very well done Kort. They both have a lovely feel to them. Glenn

Stunning!! I love that you captured him as well!!

Great depth--with the water seeming to sink toward the right edge. An aesthetitically subtle garden on a Japanese plan--American duds, body carriage gangly and clumsy--focus on the machine in the center, viewing or "shooting", blam blam blam. Yesterday I read a comment by a rah-rah American trooper in Iraq--called the locals "barbarians". When Mesopatamians are uncivilized to the likes of these mindless brutal Anglo-only hired hands, there's little left to say. In English at least. Sartor resartus and all that.

Really gorgeous!!! I also doubt he saw the way you saw it!!!:))

Having that photographer really adds a lot to this pic..IR is a really interesting effect. I may have to investigate this. Is it a filter or a certain kind of lens? As you can see, i know little about it.
