Another shot taken at Colwyn Bay about three weeks ago whilst out with Chrissy, aka BibbyBear, and a similar pic is also in her gallery.
This was taken towards the end of the evening, but the weather was still wild so it was taken with a high ISO which is why it appears a little grainy.
I have now moved to Wales with Chrissy and until we have internet access at home I am having to make do with the local library facilities and restricted to just half an hour a day, however we should have this problem sorted quite soon.

I'm so pleased you uploaded this shot Carl - it's a much better shot than mine and a superb composition with the darkness to the left of the shot. Whenever I look at this photo I'm instantly filled with the feeling of calmness (a complete contrast to actually being there!!) and I also get a feeling of intense romance - moonlit scenes often have that feel about them, but none so much as this wonderful scene. I love the way the moonlight is shimmering in the sea and the distant lights create a nice breaking point for the horizon. My only critique with this (and not through any fault of your own) is that it appears to be a lot darker here than it was on your pc at home and thus some of the detail in the clouds is lost (perhaps this is my work's computer or Renderosity??) Its a little bit grainy? No problem, it highens the atmosphere and effect here! Its an excellent shot in a very difficult situation, you did it very well. It looks as something will happen in the next moment, something bad.... A great vampire or such things, or a big wave......uahhhh... 5+

One thing I struggle with is how different pictures DO look from one monitor to another. Which one do we go by??? lol I get a little tearie-eyed .. knowing you have moved to wales with Chrissy. Goll, you guys ... your love story so touches me.
