Description

Form the old to the new. This is pretty much what the revamped stations look like now days. This sound and blast insulation metal. Whent the stations were upgraded in the 80's all white plastic was used as you'll see later. I really like this matel as it feels like you're stepping into the future, it's also got the illusion of clean (which you don't often get in the underground tunnels). I was sitting on the benches pointing up ito the sign and with my other eye open was getting quite a few wierd looks. Thank you to all the people who are following, I hope you are enjoying seeing the Underground in a new light. I find that as a photographer I tend to see things that other people just walk past everyday and ignore, amazing what you miss out on when you're self involved. I'd like feed back in terms of what connection you get from the shots in this series. I'm not really interested it who thinks I should've focused on where and what angle I should've shot from. I want to know how the picture is viewed in your eyes, what does it make you feel? If you're going to vote, please vote honestly not just this 5 5 5 stuff, pretty please. Thanx and happy viewing V Shot was handheld. VAMP'hotography

So you got the sigma finally! Congrats :) Well this is a great shot - it seems like an advert from the way it just pops with the perspective and the colours jumping at you from the background. I havent seen your other shots (just looking back now), been a bit busy in RL. As for a connection between the shots if you are looking at a "series" you are obviously going for the extreme perspective shots, using lines as the thing which connects them (that is just going from looking at the thumbs briefly - i'll have a longer look when i have more time). Keep it up, this is great stuff! :) Not sure if it is like that anyway but the "white" of the text looks blue/green tinged. Might just jump off the screen and strangle you if it were true white i suppose, thought i might just mention it tho.

I did notice the cyan tint Rich, I think I might've clipped it in editing. I'm gonna go back and correct it :) Cheer for noticing.

I very much agree with what you said, about how photographers see what others just walk by... I seem to always notice trees, and the sky and the cloud formations..
