Description

Taken at the entrance/exit to Holborn Underground Station, of the train tunnel that is. If you consider the shutter speed and see the movement of the train. I really wanted to show how fast these guys go into and out of tunnels. This shows the need for the yellow line that they tell you to keep behind as this speed creates a vacuum and can suck you in front of the train. Plus standing by these entrances is pretty windy, showing you the air that the train 'carries with it'. I'd like feed back in terms of what connection you get from the shots in this series. I'm not really interested it who thinks I should've focused on where and what angle I should've shot from. I want to know how the picture is viewed in your eyes, what does it make you feel? If you're going to vote, please vote honestly not just this 5 5 5 stuff, pretty please. Thanx and happy viewing V Shot was handheld. VAMP'hotography

I love the speeding train and the way you composed the image. I also love your choice of using monochrome for the image and accenting it by having the warning line in its original color of yellow. Your text makes me very curious as to how windy it actually is and how strong the suction effect is. I am used to New York City subways systems which are somewhat windy but I have never noticed any suction effect. Great capture!

Sorry, have to do this,... "Wheeeeeeeee!" ;'P This is a wonderful capture, I feel pulled in by the receeding lines and angles and energized by the motion. Perfect use of selective color.
