Description

Once again I have to say thank you to all of the people following my project. And a special thank you to those who take their time out and write a comment. Today's shot is a pretty ordinary one. There are these colourful seats dotted all over the Underground. I love the colour of these green ones. Also the Mansion House sign is made out of a different material to the others. I took the shot at this angle to make you feel as if the chair is something for the feet/bum what water is for the throat in the desert. I'd like feed back in terms of what connection you get from the shots in this series. I'm not really interested it who thinks I should've focused on where and what angle I should've shot from. I want to know how the picture is viewed in your eyes, what does it make you feel? If you're going to vote, please vote honestly not just this 5 5 5 stuff, pretty please. Thanx and happy viewing V Shot was handheld. VAMP'hotography

This is good but not a good as the others. Not to keen on cropping the top of the sign plus too much light bouncing off the sign. Not up to you usual high standard.

how did you manage to get a shot in the underground without the hustle and bustle ?connection well i think it evokes waiting around mick

Hi Fred, I never said it was perfect plus if you read what I wrote you will see that I asked for comments not relating to technic (cropping and light bouncing off etc). I know it's not an 'exciting' shot but none the less it is part of my project in remembering the Underground and there are lots of boring things on the Underground too.

The continuation of a great series. I don't connect with this one as I have others, but can appreciate it from a purely aesthetic standpoint.

I like the cropping as it generates the feeling of the large extension of the tubes...; light reflexes on the sign are not so well perceived...

It is all very good. From this series I have gotten a full range of feelings and motion. and non motion such as in this one. The colors in their places bring attention to certain areas that need to be noticed. There is good geometric definition to make the shots easy to "read." The affect of this documentary in stills is excellent. I think I can pretty well picture it all as it must be - I do stop to wonder about how it must look with people on a normal day but this is about the underground and not the people, right?

It says to me how uncomfortable even a simple thing like sitting down can be...

A nice shot although I don't feel it has the impact of the previous postings in this series.

COOL is how this shot makes me feel. Green is a healing colour, the overall pic is like what one may see if you were the one sitting IN the train and had your view restricted by the window and why is there a reflection, I don't have dark glasses on... you can't choose not to see the 'shine' or light reflecting off the sign, a very natural shot. I love this pic, it is very relistic. Thanks again for your work, it is always enjoyed, also from different prospective? keep going, this most enjoyable. :)xx
