Description
I was minding my own business and then all of a sudden this dude walks into my shot. I wanted to scream and shout at him to get out of the way. I mean really couldn't he see I was working here?!
But then I stopped, thought and recomposed.
He was actually a blessing. He created this nice shadow and put some interest into the midground. I was waiting for the trains to come in and out and am so pleased I got this shot as I really wanted one with the front and backends or 2 trains.
Mrs Lubner - here's your 'people' LOL. I've got some more with people in but you are right I did try to avoid then at all costs. This project as you say is about the Underground and not to people in it :D
I hope this shout 'excites' you as the previous one didn't. Although for it not being to most interesting of shots I'm shocked it got so much attention *mouth wide open*
I'd like feed back in terms of what connection you get from the shots in this series. I'm not really interested it who thinks I should've focused on where and what angle I should've shot from. I want to know how the picture is viewed in your eyes, what does it make you feel?
If you're going to vote, please vote honestly not just this 5 5 5 stuff, pretty please.
Thanx and happy viewing

Really great pic...It makes me feel this is the view of a person in some kind of distress..either unwell, or perhaps being chased.

This shot again, pulls me into the shot and the life of the underground rail system. (in my oppinion ppl are part of the tube)

Un très grave atmosphère grâce à la distorsion, le rendu photo ancienne, l'éclairage dure qui se réverbe sur le quai et nous y conduit jusqu'au fond

Very nice capture!!!

OK, you got it! This is a perfect addition to the series. The one lone body is more expressive than a horde of impatient and frantic people clogging the view. Marvelous. So far and over all I think I am getting a feeling that the underground is necessary, organized and efficient. Not exactly warm and friendly but well thought out and executed.

I like this with the pose of the one man looking at the last trains leaving the station, he has just missed. Like the choice of B&W gives it a more lonely feel.

Great urban photo and very imaginative use of color!

Yes this is another great shot. The size of the trains is something we don't think about...they are quite 'imposing'. great pov and you know what I really like is the 'lack of colour' in this one. Super!!thanks :)xx
