Description

A dialect term for causeway. These were made usually over moorland where the ground would become boggy. when these tracks were made it could have been the only route over these baron hills to the next town with packhorse or donkey. This one here is a view coming back down from Stoodley Pike (seen on earlier upload) towards Lumbutts.

This scene is so simple… but so well composed! The depth impression, enhanced by the pinpoint sharpness, is simply stunning! Wonderful image which proves that simple subjects can produce top-notch images when one has a critical eye.
