Description

Took this shot through the windscreen on the road out west, our speed...about 120 kilometres per hour, his speed about the same....These road trains are massive, he's a 68 wheeler (not including his cargo) and he's heading to the mines out west with tyres for the 100 tonne trucks out there....When you see these guys coming at you, you definately move off the road some and make way for them!

These guys are true truckers, they should all have signs on their bull bars saying "Just get the hell out of my way". Great photo.

I feel a meatloaf song comming on, I have always wanted to drive one of these monsters ever since I first saw one way back in the sixties. I have fitted those type of tyres onto the 100tonners and have also driven the 100 tonners, now heres the meatloaf 'Two Out of Three Aint Bad'. My daughter Emma, also has the same longing to drive a road train, she is 21 on the 3rd of January and she starts her lessons for her HGV on the 12th. Fantastic shot Sue, Emma says Awesome. Bravo!!!!!
