Description

Finally! This is my very first work in Carrara 6 and I'm soooooo proud! It seems that Jack and Lizzie found their home at last :o) C6 offers so much and I can't stop working with the application. Yes, I know, there are still some faults in my image, but it's something to start with and I'll keep on learning. Lights are HDRI, characters V3 and D3 (Daz). Some postwork in PhotoImpact12 on the hair and composing my logo. Thanks a lot for taking the time to look and perhaps you'll do me the favour and even leave a honest comment. It's highly appreciated! Hoist the colours high! ~Sassy~

A very good first effort in C^. The only "issues" that I can see with the image would be the stretching of the texture on Jacks shoulder (which would happen in Poser as well), and I'd like to see you add a bump or displacement map to the collar of Lizzie's coat to make the stitching and the buttons stand out. As for the lighting, good job! Lighting is almost like an actor unto itself, and you've handled quite well. Keep it up Sassy... I can't wait to see the next one.

They make a good duo if you ask me, the only thing I'd do here is lower the ambient occlusion and go for some warmer lighting, though that's just my own preference. Well done!

Wonderful. I have Poser, Bryce and Hexagon but I still come back to Carrara to do mu fun stuff. This looks like a fun render to do. Looking through all your renders with Carrara, for the life of me I can't tell who your favorite Pirate actor is... (Big Smile) If I can help, please let me try. I love to help with Carrara. Gib
