A gardener in paradise, for Janiss by Elcet

Please my friends let you notice that: you do keep a hidden paradise in your head, and this is especially important to remember when you are experiencing painful times. So never forget this picture and imagine yourself that you are this gardener. Just as the famous custom-house officier Henri Rousseau, one century ago, painted marvelous tropical scenes whereas he was doing daily a job which served him only to earn money in a cold and rainy country. In my two or three future posts, I will return to Senegal with new car photos, then I will probably show you other 2D and 3D drawings. Because, after all, I am much more an illustrator than a photographer!
I dedicate this pict to my friend Janiss, a prominent French photographer with a very personal, creative and fascinating style, and I invite everybody to visit her gallery.
Techdata: Nikon D70 with Nikkor 3.5-4.5/18-70 Pro ED at 20mm, 1/80s at f/13, aperture-priority automatic, auto-white balance, ISO 200. Composition made in Photoshop CS3 Extended. The same operation is possible in older Photoshop versions, at least since the 6. In all the versions of Photoshop Elements since the 1.0 this can be done too, but it is a bit more tricky: you have to create a special Layer for the Mask under the Layer that you want to mask, paint in Black in this Layer the image elements of the above-situated image Layer that you want to keep visible, select this image Layer, and make Layer > Group with previous.
