In The Pool In the pool Doing laps Back and forth Back and forth I swim In the pool Doing laps I lose myself I become a part Of the water In the pool Doing laps My mind wanders I can think and I can pray In the pool Doing laps I am free to be alone Free to let my body Glide along In the pool Doing laps Things become easy Troubles go away And I swim 1/22/08

Isn't it marvelous how doing the things we love most, sometimes just simple things like doing laps in the pool, will ease our minds and thoughts. Thanks for sharing your words.

You pray while swimming? How unique. I really like the image presented here, looking straight down into the lovely green ripple effects of the water. Oh yes, another fine ode as a result of your writing talents.
