Description
The pillarless 4-door Bel Air sold for US$2,618.00. In a recession year Chevy fared very well. Though not as advanced as the Forward Look from Chrysler, the design was nevertheless handsome.
I have modeled a few variations on the theme: the Impala coupe and convertible, the Bel Air Sport Coupe and 4-door (pillar) Sedan, the 2-door Biscayne, 2- and 4-door Delray, Nomad, Brookwood and Yeoman 4-door station wagons. All can be seen at http://www.palat.com.br/cars.html.
Now i am modeling the entry-level 2-door Yeoman and maybe will do the Delray Sedan Delivery.
Thanks for watching.

Your modeling skills are no doubt some of the best in the world. I look forward to all of the images you post! I would love to know your basic technique for gaining the correct curve proportions on your vehicle models. Simply outstanding!

An X-frame and four coils, a 348 engine with an angled deck block, I only remember it in baby blue. The Plymouth set the standard for poor fit and metal this year. Closing the door on one made a sound that only a car with major rust perforation and ten years on the road could simulate. The 5 million car year of 1955 seemed unobtainable far into the future. Now 16 million is a drop in sales.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You're number one in this field. You have a talent that I would give my right arm for. I used to aspire to produce images of this quality long before computers were a household appliance, using pencil and paper and a whole lot of erasers. At my age I am not likely to master even the basics of the programs you use ( and the talent you demonstrate with them), so I live vicariously through your efforts....which makes them very special to me. Thanks again for all your hard work and sharing these masterpieces with us all. Peter

FANTASTIC FANTASTIC FANTASTIC... I love American cars from the 50s & 60s. Please can you tell me were you got the blueprints from. I am desperate for a decent old american model or the blueprints for!
