My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

gorgeously clear and exciting capture. The postwork is fabulous too giving this a really dramatic feel. I haven't seen these, I don't think... I'll have to watch for them. Are they cultivated or wild?

Ah, these sweet little flowers, though I also didn't know there were any that come up in the fall. I always think of them as the first color to pop up just about this time of year. I love the purple against the black background, really makes the color come alive!!

Gorgeous colors and background.Beautiful work,

Terrific on that background! Some of the catalogues for 'non gardeners' call them 'Naked Ladies' for the lack of leaves, and did you know they'll flower sitting on a shelf without soil. probably not a second year, though!

Very lovely light and detail, and the flowers just pop with that black background. I never heard of a fall crocus either! Thanks, I learned something today. :)

Aren't they pretty? Some years mine bloom, sometimes they don't --they are a little temperamental, so it's always a gift when they do!
