Description
Immediately off frame right of my upload yesterday was this old style street lamp. Thought i would try getting the full range of exposure down from the lamp itself to the pole to get all the detail. Thus was born a 6 exposure (10 stops in total) HDR (it was originally an 8 exposure, but that didnt look too good).
So yeah - this is more of a play around with HDR... comments are very welcome on it, what looks good and what doesnt to you?
Thanks for stopping by to take a look

I do like this shot have a great cacthy POV, not many of us tilting "horizon" except Vera. I am a novice, I can not tell a different of HDR if B&W picture been used, but I have an impression this is a very well captured image. Would be interesting to see a none HDR version for compare quality.

did a very good job too

the composition is, of course excellent..what strikes me is the "wet" look to the pole it self

I really like your low_angle POV here, Rich that's what attract me in this image. Further, like Tunde, I would like to see the difference with a non-HDR picture...

Looks fantastic to me Rich! I like that only the illuminated parts of the pole are visable. I also really like that there is detail in the lamps, rather than just bright light. A superb POV and composition just tops this off, and it looks great in mono b/w. So, excellent work mate!!

Love the POV and your postwork. The pole almost looks wet to me in places ... this maybe your postwork though. Excellent work Rich
