Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Wonderful prose Marilyn, full of energy and life, it's been sunny here for a couple of days with a bit of intermittent rain, but its a winter sun and not too warm yet. Your words are very warming however, and the accompanying picture is a cracker. Bravo!!!!!

It's out here too, finally, after much rain and believe it or not a few days with temps in the 60s for February. Alas, tho, it's back to Winter once again beginning today....!

Absolutely brilliant prose, Marilyn! The sun will be out tomorrow, so you gotta hang on til tomorrow, come what may, tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow, tomorrow's another day...(from the musical, Annie. Arf!) I don't know, it's been bright and sunny down here in the Southland for several days already. In fact, a temperature of 74 degrees fahrenheit has been forecast for this weekend.

I haven't been to southern California yet, and I already miss it. I love this work, the image and the words fit perfectly together, and I love the post work you've done of the image itself. The words are evocative, inviting, and friendly, and definitely enticing. Fantastic work on every level here! I love it!

Great match again with words and photo. The sheer bliss over such a small thing is wonderful. It's a great example of the wonderf and joy lots of people miss out on by waiting for big things.
