Description

Yesterday I went out to Centerville Beach, west of Ferndale, California. I was almost the only person there, had the place to myself. This fishing boat was right off the breaker line, stayed there for half an hour or so. I played around with some of the filters and got this effect.

It looks pretty calm where the boat is, its going through that rough water to get out there that would put me off. Great shot Marilyn using the filter makes you focus on the boat and I think it highlights the white on the rollers. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

This is a great shot, and I love the filter work that you managed! I love the image in general, and it actually imparts that mood of solitariness...I think that's how you spell it. Anyway, I love the calmness of this image, despite the drama of the water itself. The whole thing is balanced and the splash of color centering the piece adds such a wonderful dimension to it. Great work!

Over the sea we go, men, we'll never give up, we'll never give up the ship... Wonderful POV, colors and dynamics in this shot of the vessel interacting with the roiling ocean.

that'd be cool to make the blue circle smaller. to help focus on the boat.
