Description

good morning all :o) thank you all so very much for your help on my last two posting it really is appreciated :o).. i went for drive late afternoon yesterday (no babysitting) and ended up at the coast at a little seaside town called redcar .the weather was quite pleasant considering how cold it can be here even in the summer months .anyways i dont know how many of you will of heard of a recent film called atonement out last year and up for ever so many awards ,was part filmed here at redcar on the beach as part of the depiction of the d-day landings of ww2 .the director of this film also directed pride and prejudice . so whilst having a amble along the front looking for a pic to take i came across these two well known figures :o)...tomorrow i will post the commemoration left after the film was made that is now firmly fixed on the promenade thanks as always for your comments and support and have a great friday mick

Great fun! Bournemouth has also come out of the stuffy era and got some good public art, I must remember to take some pics of it! Super to have some nice weather in your part of the country at last.

"That's another fine mess you've got me into", theres a museum up in the Lakes somewhere Mick if memory serves me, I have thought of going a couple of times but never got round to it. Great capture, I've not been to Redcar since 1982 and then I would only pass through on my way to Skinningrove. Great work mate. Bravo!!!!!
