Description

TMFV Page 027 Well, leave it to Doctor Agar to spell out impossible to know details of the story. Certainly a feature in just about every cheesy SciFi film ever made and an easy cheap way to divulge outrageous plot lines. Hmmm... I wonder...D'ya think he's correct in his assumptions? Of course, all the anti-communist paranolia only added to the movie going experience of that era. As always, comments are welcomed and eagerly anticipated! Enjoy life.

82 uploads and counting - did I put a little fire under you when I said I was going to make it to 100 before you? lol... no, man... I'm not stupid... You've got uploads ahead of me. I like this page - Informative... Open head showing the the brain, where have I seen that before??? Is my work influencing you? - lol... Your work influences me. Great job. - Hey, I've been sick over a week now, do you think I have this Venus infection???

I love the whole style and feel of this visual. Great scene and POV. The halftones add a great effect. The blacks, greys and whites make the composition work great! The only thing that bothers me is the phone cord. Looks a little stiff to me. It doesn't have that used dangly feel. Overall 5 stars!

Ah the plot thickens even as the blood congeals. Why diabolical plan does the good general have in store? And why (or perhaps the question best asked is what), given the cranial size of the martials, possessed them to fly to Venus in the first place? This and other as yet unanswered questions I am sure are soon to follow.

lol, love the anti communism reference. it was the meat of most the films of the 40s through the 60s. your comic has that authentic drive in feel.

Brilliantly done my friend, really well thought out as always. You are so right as I have seen this a dozen times where they use this method to push the story line along. Of course now I am eager to see what idea the General has in mind. Of course I'm sure it's something a bit underhanded.

The Journey To Venus.... Spring Break (good time to catch all manner of ... ahem... social diseases). the kids in the town are starting to feel funny (Of course puberty makes everything "feel" funny).... Dr. Agar wants to rid the world of the communist menace..... the General wants the flying disc for his own (maybe his own galactic hot rod?) next installment, starring screen legend "Buster Crabbe (like he did in the 80's Buck Rogers) with special guest appearance by Forrest J. Ackerman as Reporter #3. Boffo script and artwork! well worth the wait!

That's explains the title of cause. ;-) I am already exited, what the General's idea might be. (better than using Martian Technology against Communism?) Outstanding work again! Don't let us wait too long for the next one!

[QUOTE]"Certainly a feature in just about every cheesy SciFi film ever made and an easy cheap way to divulge outrageous plot lines." Not only that, but as we call in the Media Business, "Gap Fillers" set in several scenes to do that and Eat up the clock. SO you end up with a 2 hour program. Cool Work here Richard.

Disrupts my faith in democratic capitalism, a system of social order based primarily on trust. Just what does he have in mind? Guess we’ll have to wait for the next Sunday installment. Also appreciate Dr. Agar’s enormous insight regarding Venusian life forms. Sweet!!

And what better idea could that be? It bodes no good in my opinion. Things always go wrong. Lol, love the pic he's holding of the alien's brain. Very cleverly done.

Hmm… First I think that the point of view is excellent, and the eye is exploring one after another the objects on the table. As scenario-writer, I would have split this panel into 3 or 4 ones, each with one balloon, but… this may be true if we consider this page alone, perhaps NOT if we consider a whole sequence of several pages, because then, putting as an entire page a panel which normally would be only 1/9 of the page creates a surprise, and perhaps makes an interesting pause in the sequence of the story. I guess that it could have been your idea. Nevertheless, if you do that, you are forced to increase and be careful to detail, I mean that it would be better to improve cloth fold realism (here redraw sleeves), which by default are very bad in Poser; perhaps also redraw the phone spiral wire which is not entirely satisfying. This however could be considered as minor points:-))) As a whole, a master quality that could rival which stories drawn by the great Richard (Corben)! 5+++!

Awesome addition to the series, I guess those Venusian STDs are a killer! You're so right about "the doctor" role in such films, it always makes me chuckle when I see that. As for the general's idea, now this I gotta see, what could be better than using an alien ray-gun to blast those commies back to their mommies?!?!

Everyone can say what they want, but my favorite part of this entire page is the pic he's holding with the skull laying back like they'd used a can opener on his head or something, rofl. Beautiful and amazing work as always! I like 1358's theory of Martians on spring break at Venus, that's awesome!
