Description

Saw these the other day and it was SO exciting!! Made me think we might have spring one of these days. It's not here yet, though, more rain is on the way!! For those of you who might be wondering about my writing, I've been having all kinds of trouble trying to get anything posted. Keep getting a strange message about the file needing to be a jpeg or other version. Also, I'm having connectivity issues at my friend's (I'm near SF doing some work)so can't get access to anything on my laptop, which is where my LIFE Is!!

I wondered about the poetry...keep trying. I have troubles with photos sometimes and I have found if I don't give up, the error messages eventually will. These lupines are a welcome sight...sort of like Snowdrops are for the East Coast.

Looks like you have Lichen and Lupin in that shot. Wonderful to see. Be sure to add an image with the poetry and a thumbnail as well, keeping all within the size limits on the upload page. You might clear your cache or temp Internet files also. Good Luck!

I've noticed people uploading tulips and allsorts of flowers over where you are so you must be weeks ahead. sorry to hear about the frustrating internet problems. Nice lupins, I'm out walking again today so I'll be on the lookout for any flowers.

Ah, and just wait until the Fox Gloves really get growing and blooming. Great shot. If you are connecting wirelessly, you may be in an area where the signal strength is very low.

WOW...these are gorgeous! Ever since I saw a particular Monty Python sketch featuring Lupines, I've had a particular fondness for these flowers. This is a great, warm shot! As for connectivity problems, I can feel you on that one...I've been having more than a few myself. Czech internet protocols can be...um...interesting at times, especially if I'm using wiFi, since most wiFi providers put all sorts of download/upload limits all over the place! Ah, but enough of that...I look forward to more poetry and word-magic when you're able to post, and I'm glad to see this now!

My mothers garden used to have a long bed full of these along the side of the house, they used to smell wonderful as you walked down the path. Excellent capture Marilyn, sorry to hear about your problems and hope they get sorted soon. Bravo!!!!!

Man oh man, these titles always throw me. When I saw lupines in your title, I thought you had photographed the first wolves of the year in your neighborhood. That would be ultra exciting. Now I find it was nothing so predatory and ravenous as wolves, but actually flowers and plants of the pea family. In any event, a fine capture of the lovely flora, Marilyn.

First thing that came to mind was that Monty Python sketch Chip mentioned: "Stand and deliver! Give me all your lupines!" One of my favorites. :) Awesome photograph, my friend! We won't have anything like lupines for months!
