Description

Here's another shot of tonight's lunar eclipse. I got this one just before totality, and just before my fingers froze and fell off LOL. I actually underexposed almost everything tonight, and this has been "helped" in PhotoShop. I added some exposure and a bit of sharpening, but it's still quite noisy. This is a 100% crop of the original. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Gorgeous image! I went outside, but couldn't see the moon. It must have been behind some trees or something. I gave up. Glad you didn't! Thanks for freezing your . . . fingers . . . off to get us this shot! :)

Nice work. You can't see any of the detail in mine. This is great. Guess I need much more practice in the dark. Aloha, excellent capture.

Wonderful detail! We were very fortunate that there was no cloud cover in our area so you could get a shot like this.

Wow, this is better than seeing it in person, you are showing us more detail of the dark part than can be seen with the naked eye. Thanks for capturing this for those who were weather impaired! :)

My shot was similar to this but with even more noise and it was enough to make me unhappy with the sharpness. I had no satisfaction with postwork! Great shot. It was a wonderful treat to see this in the sky last night.

Well I could blame the clouds around here for missing out on this beauty, but in actual fact, I was just fast asleep in bed!!! This is a brilliant shot with lovely tones to it too. Hugs Chrissy xx

You did a super job of capturing this. I went out to watch the eclipse and it didn't take me long to come back in the house and get my winter gloves and ear muffs! I finally was tired of standing in the cold so came back in and watched it from the living room window. Not quite the same as being outdoors but I was a lot warmer.
