Description

With apologies to my Japanese speaking friends if I've misused the '-chan' Thanks for stopping by to have a look. I was playing around with DAZ's Aiko 4 with the new 'realistic' morph. DAZ|Studio render, minimal postwork in Photoshop. Aiko 4 with realistic morph spun to 100% and nothing else. Bit of one of joelgecko's expressions and a base pose from Danie & Marfano's 'Framed' with some tweaks. 'Ysaris' hair and 'Eye Maps Generation 4'from DAZ, 'Alice' textures by Aery Soul, pwSurface and Pendragon Hair shaders. Lights are custom, incorperating lights from Studio Light Pro by Dreamlight. 2 regular spots, 2 soft boxes and a super spot plus a touch of ambient. Some 50-odd lights all with mapped shadows. Render time: 2 hours 8 minutes on an intel quad-core. As always thanks for for your comments - constructive critism is *always* most appreciated. My thanks also to everyone over at DAZ Artists Guild for the excellent community and supportive environment.

Hell Michael, you are like wine, getting better with the time passing! Great texture work (what else, I'm used to it!) the expression and pose fits very well, in short: Marvelous portrait!

Very nice, and a great level of realism for a supposed Toon figure. Lovely.

She is beautiful and I really like her eyes!!! (..gonna check out the 'Eye Maps Generation 4'from DAZ I think...:) She is VERY realistic but since "constructive critism is always most appreciated" here I go.. A one pixel blurr of the rimms of her eyesockets would (IMHO) enhanche the realism just a tad because that would match better with her eyetexture. But hey, what do I know? :)

And some people say D|S can't do good quality renders... Proof right here that it's 90% at least the skill of the artist. Absolutely stunning...

Nice work as always. Something about the edges of the eyes seems off. Was the DoF Blur PS or render?

One day you'll have to share some ideas on how you use Arthur's hair shader, I keep stumbling on that one. Anyway, this is a beautiful portrait. Very excellent skin and the lighting is so realistic it's unfair. lol, superb image once again!
