Description

A study in lighting, treedesign and texturing, trying to achieve that special play of light in the tender spring foliage - requiring quite some tampering with the "backlight" effect in the Vue texture editor ;) Vue 5 Infinite render, trees modeled in Onyxtree, grass with G3D "Grass". Exceptional! I really love those trees, and seeing them I think I'll need to get a copy of Onyxtree for myself....and the lighting is really wonderful!

wow. it's a real beauty. the light is fresh and welcome, the foliage and tree shapes are wonderful, the composition classically good. uf, i wish i had no crits... it's actually an add/on-crit. if you would just enhance the tree closest to the camera and model it into a 'hero tree'... well... then it would be 5*+ All the best. your work has remarcable quality most of the time:) good luck

Spring Foliage is very beautiful. That time of spring when the ends of branches are just beginning to blur with new growth is a favorite of mine and you caught it so well, I can almost smell the air. Thanks!
