Description
Using the mystical 'Aighaidhe', posted the other day, I took several shots using basically the same POV, same terrain, adding two islands in the background and lowering the sea a wee bit. This darker version resulted. More realistic. Sunlight in the foreground, none on the islands in the background...
The troubled coastline is down to Chipp Walters' TERRAMATS ( which ape TERRAGEN in VUE ), as is the very simple, i.e. very quick atmosphere.
The volcanic outcrop and mossy rock of the foreground are MATs taken from kore21's extensive materials. Meant for rocks, they are used here for largish terrains, and don't look bad at this scale at all. I did try painting ecosystems on, but those versions were not so successful. I hope that you enjoy this one.
Thanks for your comments. Greetings from a snowing / sleeting Glasgow. Yeah the old meteorlogists got it wrong again. Clear sunny skies my foot! Wherever you are, goodnight.
Regards, John.
