Hi, I'm Marilyn.  I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile.  It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here.  I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends.  Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time.  Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!!  Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet.  You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long.  Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Beautifully captured essence of road troll! I love the clarity of this picture as well as the restfulness implied in the wonderful, lively greens. Fantastic work and a wonderful twist provided by the postwork. This is a gorgeous pic and again, one of my favorites!

Wow, that's some road, Marilyn...you sure you didn't take this photo in San Fran...that really winding street that goes up/down the hill? Just kidding, here. Like what you have once again done with it. It's really cool fooling around with other programs.

Follow the yellow brick road, follow the yellow brick road! We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of oz... I see the Wicked Witch of the West is cutting a wide swath along side the road, determined to prevent you from reaching your goal. Oh yeah, you discovered the swirly Photoshop filter and are using it to your heart's desire. I really like the effect, and happy you didn't overdo it, like I would have done, as attested in my past daisy photos.

Oh how fun! I've actually been here! My kids think it would be a great idea to be able to have all roads of the same name hooked up to a sort of transport system. So if I was on Addams street in Holliston MA, I could transport to say Addams street Ogden Utah. As long as there was one. It would certainly save driving time.
