Description
When I was in southern California last fall, I saw tons of this gorgeous flower everywhere. It's one on my favorites, bouganvilla, and comes in a rainbow of colors. This is the most common and there's nothing subtle about it; it wants to be noticed and it fairly shouts out at you. But, it has a bite, there are some nasty thorns all over it, so beware!!

I have one growing by my front door. It sprawls out and if I'm not quick enough, it puts up a natural barbed wire fence so that no one can get near the doorbell. :-) Sometimes that's not so bad... Great color combo! Vivid and alive.
