Description

Another foto from the San Mateo Coast, California. If you look really close, it looks as though he's looking out of the corner of is eye at you, or at least that's what I see!!

Food, it's all about food. How long did you sit still to get this shot? LOL

He does! I zoomed-in for this Marilyn, gave me that dizzy feeling you get with the movement of the sea lapping backwards and forwards. nice capture.

Great image and I love the dominance of blue tones in this! Yeah, he does look as if he's giving that "I'm pretending not to look at you," sideways look, that always indicates that you're being looked at. Non-predatory birds are so good at that. I love the sea foam and the dark rocks and seaweed as well...the contrast to the blue is stunning!

He's definitely watching someone or something. Perhaps he sees dinner in the water. Great capture, Marilyn.

You sure are working this new camera, this is great, it looks like you were standing pretty close to the big fella. Excellent capture of the water as well as the bird. Bravo!!!!!

Gulls are like that - always on the lookout. We get a lot of gulls here - but that's not too surprising - no place in the UK is more than 50 miles from the sea, and they'll eat anything it seems! The seascape is lovely. Mike

Totally terrific ocean colors, features and textures in this stellar capture, Marilyn! And the bird came out famously in its own right, suspicious eye or not!

Great shot! He seems to be wondering if you caught your shot and captured his best angle.
