Description
The poor lass doesn't have a solid name yet but I'm certain that this outfit/gear design is the one I'll be going with for my RUIN: Legacy of Destruction, one-shot comic I've finally gotten back to working on.
Due to real life problems it has been over 3 years since I've posted anything on Renderosity or pretty much anywhere else for that matter.
It's nice to be getting back to making images I enjoy and I hope you folks enjoy them too.
Thanks for looking...

Thank you for the kind comments everyone. Jadelu, I've experimented with quite a few 'toon' shaders and effects, but this is all postwork. It's actually pretty simple to achieve in PS. I'm pretty sure GIMP and some of the similar tools can easily do it. Basically you duplicate you base image layer twice (I always save the base image with no modification as the bottom layer, just for refrencing back to or incase I really screw up)then double the size of the image and apply the watercolor filter with the settings of 14 for Brush Detail, 0 for Shadow intensity, and 1 for texture to the middle layer. Leave it's Opacity at 100% Then double the size of the image again for the top layer and apply the water color filter with the same settings. Now reduce the image size, back to the original size, and set the top layer to Normal Opacity 50%. The use the smudge brush, at 50% to fix any jagged edges and smooth out any area's that look too rough. For this image I spent about 15 minutes smoothing out some area's on her skin, face and around the hair line. I'm still experimenting with some variations on this theme to see if I can make it a bit more toonish but so far this is what I've got.
