Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. Another superb shot of this new flow. I'll bet this is spectacular at night. What amazes me is how many ferns there are in the older flow. Life doesn't waste any time.

I heard that a Hawaii volcano blew some pressure off sending rocks flying.I was thinking I sure hope you was not in it's path.the lava flow to me is beautiful especially since it unlikely to happen in Dallas.superb capture
