Description

Seeing that I got stuck on New York this week, I thought I'll place this image of the Manhattan skyline. I took this shot from across the Hudson River on the New Jersey side with a 500mm zoom lens. I had the shutter open for approximately 45 seconds. The line of light behing the Midtown buildings is actually a helicopter in flight. The highrise building on the right is the Empire State Building and the clump of buildings more to the left is Midtown Manhattan - where Times Square is also situated! Thank you for popping in. Thi si fantastic, many years ago I had a roll film camera and a tripod and loved doing this night stuff, the camera is long gone now, was one of those Practika MTL 3's, jolly little thing it was too, but I sold it along with the pod, I must get a pod and get back to it...This is so wonderful :)))
