Description

here you see the bronze casters. they too use a metal trash can to melt the bronze. You see them picking it up and getting ready to pore into a cast they made for two days. now it time for 2000* degrees I can not spell fairinhigth lol. anyway it hot. The bootom image is what they use to melt the bronze in. forgot what metal it is. Got more of these on http://www.morguefile.com/ where I am photojock there. I be uploading some images of these two from 2006 I took of them. thanks for looking and comments

One of the lobbyists I work for does bronze casting as a hobby. He's made some of the most fabulous things. He tried to encourage me to try it but it seems to be a long process in making the molds and then an expensive one to melt and pour the bronze. This is really very interesting. I like the way it looks when its turned to liquid.

Great story you are showing with your photos, Jock. And I think they cast them in sand molds. I'll help you out a bit...farenheit is the word you are looking for...thanks for sharing these captures.

this is not sand molds. it a wax mold. they make the wax then they cover it with the space material they use on the space ships you see here is white then they melt the wax out aand then pour the bronze
