Description

All rendered in Vue but there's alot of postwork so I put this in Mixed Media. It's not historically correct but it's the closest genre to put this in. Credits: Xurge dragon warrior outfit, M3, Daz knights, free sword (sorry, don't know who made it). Thank you to all the people who view my art and leave such kind and generous comments. I know it's hard to find the time to do, so it's greatly appreciated. ****** Side note ***** Update on Daniel - This is an email that Roger (my brother) sent to the family and his boss about Dan's progress after being in Houston, TX at the Anderson Medical facility. Thank you again for all your prayers. I'm so grateful to this community. *It's ongoing. Dan is hooked up to a battery powered back-pack pump that infuses 15 CC's an hour. We have to take him back to the hospital each day for the next four days to give him a new bag of drugs. So, that's 120 hours of continuous drugs. That takes him to noon on Tuesday, and then he gets 24 more hours of stuff to help keep his kidneys from turning into hamburger. Then he gets a drug that will help his blood counts (and hence, his immune system) recover faster, and then another doctor meeting before we head home. That would be next Thursday or Friday. Nice thing about this, if there is one, is that he doesn't need to be admitted into the hospital on this. In one month he has to go through this same routine again, and then he'll get re-evaluated by the Dr. Anderson here in TX (unclear at this point if we'll come here for that or not - regardless, in late May) to see how effective the chemo is. If it's working, he'll have probably two more rounds (two more months) of this (which should be able to be done in WI). Then we can see if radiation makes sense, and then he'll also need to have heart surgery because the tumor thrombus appears to have spread into the right atrium of his heart - in addition to his jugular and a large tumor in his right lung. But none of that matters if this chemo doesn't start killing the disease. So we're just trying to stay positive and appreciate every day we have. We really like this Dr. Anderson. Like I said last night, he's not promising miracles, but he has a definitive plan and know exactly how to approach this.

Sorry to hear about that but on another note the warrior there looks a lot like Phil Lynott.

A poignant image that aptly portraits despair and exhaustion after a long battle, even in victory - how many more battles before the war is won? Fight on Nancy, my thoughts are with Dan and your family.

Your scene really relates to Daniels fight and hopefully some light at the end of this tunnel ! Actually this scene reminds me of the movie "300" except for the armour, of course ! Well done, stay positive & ~Cheers~

Fantastic atmosphere. Great character and skin tone. His face looks very real. I'm sad to read that Dan has to undergo all that treatment being so young. I just hope it's for the best and he would remember it on the future just as a bad nightmare. Give him my regards.
