Description

I took this image of the Yellow Billed Hornbill in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. They are widely found over most of Africa. In the Kruger they can even become a nuisance sometimes and is known to steal food from visitors. For those Lion King fans out there - this is the bird Zazu's character has been based on. What a strange looking bird! The body of a song bird and the beak of a tucan! Just an incredible sight. I haven't seen The Lion King (don't thow rocks at me!) but I still like this bird alot. Excellent shot and fabulous postwork!
