Description

The mighty Niagara Falls - Canadian Side. I took this image last year in March on a bitterly cold day. This visit was a dream come true as the Niagara Falls has always been on my "Things to see before I die" list. Shortly before I took this image, at this very spot, I had an almost spiritual experience just standing quietly and taking in the force of this natural wonder. Thank you for visiting and for any comments. Hugs, Carin xx

Beautiful shot Carin, the bluey/green water looks great as it starts it tumble down the falls, I can almost hear the rumble as it splashes down on the water below. The rushing sound so loud its hard to hear a word. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

Wow! this is a tremendous close shot, you have captured the imense power. We also have this on our list too, we have money set aside that we can't touch for another two years just for the purpose of fulfilling this dream. But like all things I'll believe it when I actually see it lol. Thanks for sharing this one Carin.

As a child I went to see Niagra Falls several times. Both from the US side and the Canadian side. Since my mother was Canadian, we visited relatives there and would stop to see Niagra from that side when we did. This is so gorgeous. The color and massive strength is just awesome. Splendid shot.
