Description
The Strelitzia or more commonly known as the Bird of paradise, was quickly photographed while we filled up at a gas station in Johannesburg on Friday. The province's name is GP and is jokingly referred to as Gangster's Paradise, hence my adapted tongue in cheek title.

I don't think I ever realized how gorgeous these plants are! I love the blue part in there, it looks like two more little birds! Such a wonderful macro of this one, with your usual fabulous presentation! Sorry for the delete, I wanted to add that all three of the Grrrs are making trips to the vet. Two for health reasons, frequently, and one just for weight ins, which are free!

Awesome colors and postwork!! One minor technical criticism, but one that does not at all draw away from the beauty of this image...that is the fact given the depth of field here, the moon would not be as sharp as shown. Congrats on your selection to the LWITG!
