Description


The Strelitzia or more commonly known as the Bird of paradise, was quickly photographed while we filled up at a gas station in Johannesburg on Friday. The province's name is GP and is jokingly referred to as Gangster's Paradise, hence my adapted tongue in cheek title.

Great photo. I always laugh when I see these. I went to a very strict private Catholic college, and the brothers told us these were deadly poisonous to keep us from kicking footballs in there! We believed every word of it right up to year 12!!!!!!
