Description

This is a piece of driftwood, up close and personal. I did nothing to enhance this composition before I took the shot, I only clicked the shutter. The little extra details on the right-hand side are courtesy of wind and waves.

Wood is so personal, or at least it seems it is. this is a beautiful way of seeing it and the treasure tucked away in its pockets is a real bonus.

I se a face near to the stuff on the right, it's half black half grey, but I don't see the little person that Marilyn does. Is this the same one we had a preview of on TPBM in the forum? Excellent macro Tara, I have a love for wood in it's natural state, I do not have any wood painted in my house, I have it all varnished, only rarely is it stained. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

A stellar capture of what could be easily mistaken for a topographical map. Just dig all those loops and whorls in this convoluted display of driftwood! And, I do see the tortured face of a distraught man, placed in the wood long ago by a witch's evil spell. Who or what will free him from this terrible prison?
