My baby...luv my Jeep 4x4. Do I take it rock-crawling and off-roading? Hell no... No way, no how...... Â
I have been working with 3D digital programs for about 6 years time. My first experiences with the world of 3D digital art were Terragen and a terrain generator program called World Machine. After learning Terragen, I moved on to Bryce where my major interest in creating landscapes, SciFi and interior space renderings now lies.
Other programs which I experiment with and use are Vue7, Apophysis and Incendia. Postwork tools I usually use for enhancing the original renders are PSP Pro X, PhotoScape 3.3, Paint.Net, MGI PhotoSuite and FastStone Image Maker. Occassionally I also enjoy taking photos with my Nikon S52 Digital camera. Here at Renderosity you will find works of mine using all of these mediums.
As an artisan, I have always had a deep love and respect for architecture, especially modern and future design development. You will see that reflected in some of the 3D renderings here in my gallery.
Originally, I'm a Northeastern United States native (anthracite coal region)....half Welsh, half Bavarian in ancestry.... and live some 1,400 feet (about 475 metres) above sea level in the Appalachian mountain chain along with my Shih-Tzu, Max and my cat, London. However, I prefer the lure of the beach and ocean and especially love the Chesapeake Bay region of the East Coast. Â
Take a few minutes to look thru my gallery and leave a comment or two if you like. Everyone here at Renderosity is unique in their work and individual abilities.  Personally speaking, I have been blessed with the friends I have made from around the world and for being a part of this community for the past 5 years. Impressive, but scary scenario, Keith. Excellent replication of the doomsday idea. Agree with it, but hope I'm not around to see it.

Impressive and frightening scenario! The whole Mayan prophecy concerning 2012 is an intriguing subject to begin with and your render does justice to it! Fantastic, vivid work, brilliantly done. Hopefully this more grim interpretation of Mayan prophecy comes to pass in the way Y2K did...with a lot of hoopla and not even a flickering lightbulb to show for it.

This is an awesome image!!! The effects are fantastic. I prefer to think that in 2012 we will be passing into a new era of peace and contentment. If not...Well.. there is one consolation.. we will all go together LOL

beautifully done, inspires much paranoia, the wall of uprising water -- well, i hope we never have proof that that's what it looks like. fascinating how the age of the earth gets pushed back every couple years...how many civilizations have come and gone in this cosmic game of billiards...? brilliant idea and execution

Hot image Keith, a scary thought about 2012. I like the textures in the sky, almost as if it's disintegrating. Great work. Tony :-)

Awesome doomsday image Keith, hope they got the date wrong, I was planning on a vacation to Iceland in 2012 lol! Now I wonder if I could get a refund on the flight ticket! Excellent work!
novelist
I've been contemplating that date lately. I hope it's just something like all of our computers crash that day instead. In any case, this captures the 2012 scenario well, and it's a lovely work of art.
