Thanks for the comments yesterday, very useful & much appreciated.
Today I'm stepping back a couple of years again to my 2006 dash across parts of Europe with my sister Laura. Venice was the second stop-off point on our journey and we ended up staying rather longer than we'd planned as neither of us had been before and were totally captivated by the place (me even more so as I happened to be studying a lot of Venetian art for my degree at that point!). Can't wait to go back, see a bit more, and see how shots with my new camera turn out too.. this was taken on my old point and shoot digital, postworked slightly in Photoshop.
