took this in Nevada trip before last thanks for viewing and any comments I do not know for sure about the rich red color of the flamingos, but it maybe due to them being inside out of the direct sun

Beautiful capture! We have gone on archaeology field trips in the Nevada desert, and this reminds me of some of the places we climbed around looking for artifacts. Of course, that was a long time ago. :o)

A wonderful blue sky here and you look as if you have climbed quite high too. Such energy, but worth it. I have heard that it is the shrimps that the flamingo eat that give them the colouring so I reckon yours must have been over indulging.
