Renderosity has opened a whole new world to me, its a fantastic place and have had some brilliant support from many new friends.  I retired from work very early through ill health so I took to photography from the very basics.
Since joining I have grown in confidence with my photography and I now think because of RR that I take it a little more seriously. I started off here using a Fuji Finepix 6500fd, it took some great pictures but I'm hooked now so I have now(April 2008) bought a DSLR SAMSUNG DX10 and having fun learning the settings etc. ( these things take me a while lol)ÂÂ
I am so fortunate to be with a wonderful person in my life, Sylvia. She is not just my partner but of course she's also my best friend. Previously I have been married but seperated a few years ago and have two fantastic children. I NOW have two fantastic grandchildren !!!
My interests are photography, i have had a dabble at Acrylic painting, and I enjoy long walks out in the countryside.      I also have an interest in anything historical.  I want to have a sample of just about everything there is in photography, who knows what the future holds!
Thanks for calling by.    Alan

Gosh, I wish we had those motor chairs for hire at our events. To have one for a vacation where we know we will visit different attractions... The only place I see them regularly is the grocery store and they usually only have 2 per store and sometimes you have to sit and wait 45 minutes to an hour for one to become available. My Bay-Bee would be a lot more active if he didn't have to walk too much when we went somewhere. He gets to moving slow and sometimes just comes to a stop... Anywhooooo, I like this racing shot. I can see Jeff has revved up the motor, warmed the tires for more traction, and is off like a rocket! :-) I'm sure he blew the doors in on that other chair with ease. What a fun shot!

Happy to know you both had a nice day, I do not know Jeff personally, but I am sure he is a person that all of us would love to know personally, great capture and great sense of humor about our friend Jeff.

This is sooo cool. I love the sign too. I know it makes so many people happy to know others care about the little children and less mobile adults. Nice job. Aloha

You didn't mention I had you running on more than one occasion. Lol. I did pass the gentleman on the left I also noted his number, Not a posh one like mine I may add, he only had the two letters Z2 and they were drawn on not like my posh personal number plate. That you see gave me an advantage, because I had the go faster plate. When I picked the buggy up I came out on crawl speed and said to Alan let me know if I'm going to fast for you. He looked at me and he had a bit of a glum look and said is that as fast as it goes? I wacked it up to full speed and put the throttle down and with the batttery being full I shot of at the awesome speed of four miles an hour. Lol. You could have told me you were taking it Alan I would have put my wig on to cover the bald spot(bald spot? more like a full moon.) I don't think they make one big enough. Nice bit of postwork I have to say. Bravo!!!!!
