A principal character from the Twilight Blades, a D&D Forgotten Realms campaign set in Aglarond. “Talice could sense the rage radiating from Courynn, even as she approached him from behind, and felt his body quivering as she laid her hand gently upon his shoulder. He knew it was her without needing to turn, and that lightest of touches was like a pressure valve. Instantly, he felt his fury flood away. “He is a bitter, old man,” she said softly. “He’s my father!” he replied, his voice broken by both pain and anger. Stepping around to face him, she laid her hands gently on his chest, and his instinctively moved to her hips. “There is nothing that you can do that will ever win his approval.” She looked up into his eyes, her beautiful features showing the pain she shared with him. “He looks upon you and sees the shame that nearly cost him his family.” “I know,” Courynn replied weakly. “Do not let his guilt poison you!” she pleaded. Courynn looked deeply into her face, and the pain he saw there tore at his heart. He forced a smile to his lips. Then bent his head and kissed her deeply. They both poured all their emotions into the kiss, crushing their bodies together, and breaking it only when they had no breath left. Feeling Talice’s selnder form pressed against him, Courynn could understand how his father fell under the charms the half-elven beauty that became his mother, even with a wife and daughter already. He often wondered if his mother resembeled Talice, but since she died giving him birth, he would never know. Talice felt his embrace tighten, pressing her into his muscular body and laid her head on his chest. She knew that their relationship was fuel for fire of resentment Courynn’s family felt toward him, and the Yuir elves… and wondered why they remained in Relkath’s Foot. Lost in each other, neither Talice nor Courynn had noticed another figure approach and stop in the shadows to watch them. Courynna Telstaerr saw her borther with the half-elven wench, and waves of rage and hatred rose in her. Turning from them in disguest, her eyes burned with fury as she stalked back to report what she had seen…” Raised in Relkath’s Foot, Talice has rarely set foot outside the Yuirwood. A druid of Mielikki, and a master of the Yuirwood, she know the secret of the menhir circles that dot the ancient forest, and views its whole expanse as her home. Fierce, daring and capricious, she embodies both the Yuir elves’ love of life, and their deadly tenacity. Drawn into the Twilight Blades as it formed, Talice serves both Mielikki and the masters of the Yuirwood faithfully, but she sees the rift growing between the residents of the forest and the coastal lands around it, and fears the day is coming that she will have to break with her own people to stand for a unified Aglarond and the Simbul. I hit a block working with a female centaur character, so I decided to go back and revisit the three half-elven women I've already rendered to fix some problems... This is my third version of Talice. I beefed her up with a touch of She Freak 2 Amazon, tweeked her head morphs, and, hopefully, made her look a little younger. Thanks for looking... Hope you enjoy!
