Description
Shades of Jack and the beanstalk.
Captured 5/2/08, around 7:00 AM, about 1.2 miles/1.938 kilometers from my dreadful domicile.
The photo on the left depicts the relative height of the trees.
The shot on the right came about as close to my falling over backwards as any I've taken so far, plus, considering the bright sun had virtually washed out my LCD monitor, I was lucky to have centered the pic that well. I took about four pictures from this angle and this one was the best of the lot.
Thanks for stopping by, and have yourselves a frantic frolicky Friday.

What happened with a freeway series?...oh well this is just as fascinating capture Harry. That is a hell of the tall palm duo on a left and a great closer shot on a right. Like a fact they touch each other gently...like hand in hand couple.

These remind me of the palm trees that lined the sidewalk along my grandmother's house in Hollywood, California. They scared me as they swayed; I always thought they would fall down--thanks for this great shot!

Super shot.

I feel right in the desert whenever I see palm trees. The tall touseled tops are regal. A warm light and a warm night are not far away.

I love the POV in the second capture, it makes the trees an experience instead of just a view.

These trees are not the kind I am used to. I would think that a landscape design worker might have trouble blending them in to the plan!

Wonderful captures, both! Excellent presentation, my friend. Them's some tall trees!
