morning all :o) this wasp was annoying me in the kitchen ,so i stunned it and took it outside for a small photo shoot .no wasp was hurt during the capturing of this shot .he flew away :o) thanks for looking and take care mick its worth a look full zoom

I have never been able to get the camera info to show up - always had to do it myself. Excellent capture. I like the first shot the best, as someone said, the head tilt is interesting. It's as if he is saying, "What's up?" :o)

Great shots of a fantastic creature! There was a rather impressive nest of these critters just behind my grandparents' house. I lived there to help take care of my grandmother, and a part of what I'd do daily was watch them expanding the nest. Never got stung, and I wish I'd gotten pictures...but alas...no. This is a great series of shots, with a wonderful sense of detail and color.
