This has a modern stonehenge look and feel to it. I love the lighting and atmosphere.

ok, i've given myself time to be sure of my reaction to this, but i'm still not clear, so i'm commenting anyway. my first impression is that you're not only fearless about color, but light. those clouds seem just this side of possible, and contrast with the green in the pillars. the low saturation and brightness of the red-violet, green and slate blue allow them to contrast harmonically. and then, in the middle of the soft, muted green field, there's the bright, flaming pillar. overall, i'm not sure what to make of the wall of uniformity and the fallen rebel. partly because the fallen, flaming piece appears to burn internally, and partly because the upright pillars seem severely corroded. an interesting relationship of elements. i like the tubes linking the pillars. for no particular reason, i just find them aesthetically pleasing in this context. they serve an obvious role in binding the pillars together, which is great, but i particularly like how you chose them to look.

Looks like someone knocked his block off. The figure on the ground provides a wonderful ambiguity, in that one (I) could imagine that he is part/connected to the stones, figures surrounding him. The still image does not tell if they has been encased/ imobilized, or are about about to emerge. The "blocks" surround the figure and the back ground, together with the declivities in the earth are very well done. It is interesting that I have just run on like this, as did cobaltdream. I did not read their review. I think there is something that makes us want to talk about the work - and this is good.
