Description

Captured 5/19/08, around 7:00 AM, at the pristine park adjacent to our chic city hall. Judging by the response to my similar postings, most of the viewers don't care for this kind of subject matter, but I like any kind of water shots, whether they be creeks, oceans, rain, rivers, lakes, harbors, surf pounding the shore, ponds, puddles, spray, streams, cascading falls, or sprinkler droplets frozen in the air. Shutter speed 1/1000th of a second. Absolutely and definitely better viewed full size. Thanks for taking a peek, and have a good Tuesday.

Oooooohhh. Let's see ... ummmmm ... I like the second one best. There's something about the angle, and the arc of the water, and the way the water hits the drinking fountain (post?) that is particularly appealing. Nicely seen, and well shot!

I've got reservations about water use for this kind of thing, but that doesn't detract from your pics, Harry. And of course you may photograph what pleases YOU, and not the masses!

I like all water shots too; even if its a brown muddy puddle with a little reflection in it. You captured the spray nicely here ... I love running through these kinds of sprinklers :)
