Description

I FINALLY was able to capture some Pelicans! Not as CLOSE as I'd like, but at least I got THIS close. Its been a dream of mine to find the opportunity to take pictures of these odd-looking-yet-beautiful-prehistoric-like birds. I think the bump on the beak of some indicates, what, their gender? Thanks for stopping by, and for your time & comments. I hope you have a great day !! :) Shari

I don't think Kimmers has been reading comments, I think Danny needs to take his socks off as well, I count seven to one. Lol. Another fish eater and not one of my favourite birds Shari, but an excellent capture of them none the less. At least these birds do not fly over my house eyeing up my Koi. I agree with you when you say they are prehistoric like birds. I don't however see the beauty in them, but if we were all the same it would be boring to say the least. You have done a sterling job here though really, kidding apart, your day will come when you get closer still. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

Aghgh! Such a delightful scene! I love this! They are stunning, captured in such a warm and delightful light.... It's not often we see these birds, only tell our children that they were delivered by these wonderful little birds! (Or perhaps, its just me.. hehe). These animals are beautiful, and a real treat to be able to see in this wonderful presentation!

Great Caesar's avians, what a splendid panoramic capture of those magnificent birds, Sharilyn! You are so lucky...I've got shots of seagulls, turtles, pigeons, ducks, geese and peacocks, but nothing as unique as this. Nice framework, also. Oh, and just a reminder to not be a stranger to my gallery.
