beautifully done love your title for this as well!!!!

Hard to single out something in particular being afraid of ruining the wholesome effect the work produces. However, love the compo with the focus on the fallen leaves and scarcity of those still remaining making imagination build up what is supposed to be at the top... Contrary to Kim, not so sure about the title, Egmont, for I perceive it in two different ways, one of which requires the relevant color. Personally, this is one of the instances where colors should be present. Thank you for making me think. Have a great Sunday.

Excellent shot. I like very much the mood and the title. I can imagine the golden leaves on this b&w image.

A genuine and 'warm' atmosphere of wilderness, but I too, yearn for the gold you promise....

Black and white, but a golden picyure, Egmont. Congrats!

An odd title considering the medium. While I like the image, I don't feel it is one of your stronger efforts. The perspective almost seems too 'snapshoty' if you get what I mean. I think this would have been an ideal candidate for some tasteful selective coloring. Belated Happy Father's Day!

Responding to Kort's comment: I thank you for your words honesty and also providing another possibility in combining the title with the image. For myself, I thought the title would hold up since even B/W-duotone the leaves are light against a dark background, but maybe this time I missed hitting the nail on the head. I like the idea of selective hand colouring as a stand-alone photograph and not part of this set, so I guess I will have to search for another title. Egmont

A beautiful image, with a stunning perspective! The black and white is most perfect, as it outlines and details all the different shapes, and variations of tones and shades, and especially value. Your title is inspiring, and only leads one through a splendid imaginative journey!
